As one of six NASA-funded Regional
Technology Transfer Centers (RTTCs), we offer a variety
of technology transfer and commercialization services. We serve
private companies and federal laboratories by forging a value-added
link between technology sources and recipients.
We provide this assistance to a 14-state region from our headquarters
in College Station, Texas, and through a team of subcontractors
and affiliates. The team, composed of universities, private
industry, and federal and state agencies, caters primarily to
companies in the Mid-Continent region, but it pulls essential
technologies from more than 600 laboratories nationwide. The

initiative upgrade and restructure
its technology transfer program to better serve U.S. business
and industry in the 21st century and beyond.
The MCTTC is under the direction of the Technology
and Economic Development Division of the Texas
Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), a member of the Texas
A&M University System. The MCTTC reports directly to NASA
Johnson
Space Center, and it is a participating member of the NASA
Commerical
Technology Network. |
