As one of six NASA-funded Regional Technology Transfer Centers (RTTCs), we offer a variety of technology transfer and commercialization services. We serve private companies and federal laboratories by forging a value-added link between technology sources and recipients.

We provide this assistance to a 14-state region from our headquarters in College Station, Texas, and through a team of subcontractors and affiliates. The team, composed of universities, private industry, and federal and state agencies, caters primarily to companies in the Mid-Continent region, but it pulls essential technologies from more than 600 laboratories nationwide. The MCTTC reflects NASA's
initiative upgrade and restructure its technology transfer program to better serve U.S. business and industry in the 21st century and beyond.

The MCTTC is under the direction of the Technology and Economic Development Division of the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), a member of the Texas A&M University System. The MCTTC reports directly to NASA Johnson Space Center, and it is a participating member of the NASA Commerical Technology Network.
